Nestled along the north end of Lake Washington, Pho House Deli is a true gem where exceptional food meets heartfelt hospitality. The lake views alone are worth the visit, but if you time it right, you might catch the mesmerizing sight of seaplanes gliding in and out several times an hour. It’s a uniquely Pacific Northwest bonus that adds a touch of wonder to your meal. Steve, one of the family owners, exemplifies what great customer service should be. He personally checked our order, guided us through the menu with genuine care, and when I asked for two extra sides of their addictive peanut butter dipping sauce for my shrimp fresh rolls, which I offering to pay for, he simply smiled and said, “Not necessary, I got you.” That kind of generosity sticks with you. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered: No. S1 - Mi Xao: Stir-fried egg noodles with mixed vegetables and chicken. Perfectly balanced, flavorful, and satisfying No. A1 - Goi Cuon: Two fresh spring rolls with shrimp, paired with that unforgettable peanut sauce No. 15 - Bun Cha Gio: Vermicelli with grilled pork and crispy egg rolls. Bold flavors To top it off, we sipped on two boba teas: mango and honeydew. I’m usually a mango loyalist, but the honeydew surprised me, it was the ideal refreshment for a late summer day in Seattle. And here’s a bonus for gamers and Halo fans: the walls are adorned with nine signed Halo posters, each autographed by the developers themselves. The restaurant originally operated in Kirkland near Halo’s former HQ, and Steve’s brother-in-law, one of the developers, helped secure the autographs. It’s a cool slice of gaming history tucked into a cozy Vietnamese eatery. The restroom was exceptionally clean! And that is a major bonus. With delicious food, generous service, and a lakeside view that includes seaplanes and signed Halo memorabilia, it’s one of the most memorable dining experiences in the area and an absolute must try!

This little pho shop off the sometimes busy highway of 522, is amazing. I had the chicken pho with green tea. The broth flavor was rich but soothing, and the chicken meat wasn't dry. The noodles and toppings are generous portions. The tea is soothing and has good flavor as well. They utensils for anyone, your choice, and free water available. The atmosphere is gentle and calming, and the staff are attentive. Parking is free but not a giant amount. The seating area inside is spacious and has a view of the sea planes nearby. Pricing was more than fair for what we got.
This is easily our new favorite place near our house. The food is fresh and delicious!! We shared a spring roll appetizer that was so very good!! We both had vermicelli bowls. Mine had chicken and egg rolls. My partner had just the egg roll vermicelli bowl. We both really really enjoyed our food. The views of the lake are amazing. We will be eating here often I'm sure.
OMG — what an incredible hole-in-the-wall! This pho spot is outstanding. My husband and I just moved up here and were craving pho, so we decided to give this place a try. We got pho, a banh mi, and some fresh rolls — all 10/10! Everything tasted super fresh (nothing premade) and packed with flavor, plus the prices are great. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, delicious pho — and as a bonus, there’s an unexpected but gorgeous view of Lake Washington while you eat!
Wanted Pho and on a whim decided to try since it is local, and what a treat! Loved the atmosphere, clean, tidy, gorgeous view. Pho and appetizers were delicious and fresh. The broth on the Pho is so good and egg rolls were crispy and deliciius. And service was so friendly! A huge bonus actually! Talkative, helpful with the menu and fast.
It's Kenmore's local pho joint. Their pho is good, but I prefer the bun bo hue. Been going here regularly since they opened a few years ago. There's some variability in the food from visit to visit, but it's always delicious. Certainly not a fancy restaurant, but prices are reasonable and the food is good.
The pho is good, usually just needs a wee bit more salt. I was craving bun Bo hue so I ordered it tis time. The bun bo hue broth was good but wasn’t a traditional bun Bo hue - the meats were the same as their pho meats and the garnishes and herbs were the same as pho and the broth didn’t have the saté chili oil with lemongrass. I’ve haven’t tried their other Vietnamese dishes but pretty solid overall.
Perfect spot for a warm bowl of Pho on a cold night. Even with crazy orders coming in via take out, the staff is hustling to serve great soup in a timely manner. The Sodium is well under control in this pho, outweighed by an indescribable sweetness in a rich broth.
